What is an Editor Device?
An Editor Device is a Mac, Windows PC or iPad that is registered to your account and authorized to edit cases. To register a device, open DentVIS on it and choose “Register this device”.
Can multiple people use the same Editor Device?
Yes. DentVIS licensing is based on registered devices, not on individual staff members.
Can I change my registered device?
Yes. An Editor Device can be replaced once every 30 days. If a device is lost, broken or permanently unavailable, contact DentVIS support.
Can I use DentVIS on several devices?
Solo includes 1 Editor Device. Team includes 3 Editor Devices with project synchronization between them, and you can add Additional Editor Devices for €39 / month or €390 / year each.
Does DentVIS charge per case?
No. Both plans include unlimited cases and unlimited exports.
What is Sync Storage?
Sync Storage keeps your recent projects available across your Editor Devices. It is part of the Team plan: 30 GB, plus 10 GB for each Additional Editor Device. DentVIS projects are stored primarily on your devices. Sync Storage is not intended as a backup service. A project is the file of a case stored on your device.
What happens when Sync Storage becomes full?
DentVIS automatically removes older synchronized project data when Sync Storage is needed for newer projects. Your local projects are not deleted.
What happens if I cancel?
Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. After that your cases open in view-only mode — editing, export and project synchronization are turned off. Your local projects are never deleted because a subscription ends.
